GTA Biography

Leticia Pinheiro is pursuing her Master of Arts in Higher Education Student Personnel at the University of Central Florida after earning her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from UCF. As a first-generation international student from Brazil, she is passionate about student success, leadership development, and creating meaningful experiences to students.

During her undergrad experience, Leticia served as a peer mentor, supporting students, connecting them with campus resources, and helping them navigate their college experience. Prior to joining COMPASS, she spent the summer at Yale University, where she gained experience supporting students through her internship with Yale Conferences & Events, further strengthening her passion for creating positive and engaging student experiences.

As the COMPASS Graduate Teaching Assistant, Leticia is excited to empower STEM students through mentorship, campus engagement, and professional development opportunities. She hopes to help students explore their potential, build meaningful connections, and prepare for successful careers in STEM.
