Mentor Biography
My name is Cooper Dawes, and I am a second-year Aerospace Engineering student. I graduated from George Jenkins High School in Lakeland, Florida. My favorite class at UCF so far has been Calculus 1, because it brought out my deep interest and understanding of Mathematical concepts. My favorite professor at UCF is Joanna Eisele. She makes Sociology extremely interesting and fun to learn about. I wanted to become a COMPASS mentor because I have a desire to guide students like myself into the correct majors for them. You should put a lot of time into the COMPASS program because you will gain as much from it as you put into it. In my free time I enjoy hanging out with close friends, playing spikeball, frisbee golfing, and my favorite pastime is listening to music.
