Mentor Biography
My name is Brett Rosenberg, and I am a Computer Science major. This will be my third year at UCF. I graduated from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida. My favorite class so far has been Computer Science 1. I love how this class built onto what we learned in Introduction to C Programming and continued our learning of the C program. My favorite professor is Arup Guha. He was my Computer Science 1 teacher and greatly helped me prepare for my foundation exam. I decided to get involved with the COMPASS program because I was once a COMPASS mentee when I first started here in 2022. I expect to contribute my knowledge of STEM and my experiences at UCF to incoming STEM students starting at UCF. The key to surviving college is to ask questions and not eat the dining hall food. I love hanging out with my friends, I am a huge sports fan – especially the NBA, and I have a cat.
